CPU is Snapdragon 865 plus with 3.1Ghz speed which snapdragon claims 10% improvement of CPU and GPU performance over SD865.
The ROG Phone 3 features a Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 144 refresh rate with 1 ms response, 270hz touch sampling with 25ms touch latency and 18ms slide latency. and which will be a first in India.
The device in India will be available with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM/128 GB ROM and 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM/256 GB ROM variants with UFS 3.1 storage technology. Asus has also offered the phone in other memory configurations for global users.
Rear Triple camera setup includes primary 64 MP Sony IMX 686, 13 ultra wide and a macro camera. Rear primary camera supports 8K Video recording, 4K HDR video recording, 4K slow mo video and first time PRO mode for video recording. Part of the back cover is transparent. Front camera includes a single 24MP selfie camera.
The handset has a 6,000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
