AMD Zen 3 architecture CPUs and Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs to be uncovered in October month

AMD recently announced that they will be unveiling highly awaited consumer products based on their Zen 3 CPU and RDNA 2 GPU architectures.

On October 8th 12PM ET, the company will be presenting their Zen 3 based Ryzen desktop processors and 3 weeks later on October 28th 12PM ET, AMD will be showing off its new Radeon RX 6000 series of GPUs.

AMD’s Ryzen Zen 3 processors are said to be built on an improved version of TSMC’s 7nm processor, most likely TSMC’s N7P process. Coming to the GPU, Radeon RX 6000 series is confirmed to be built on RDNA 2 architecture which will be a DirectX 12 Ultimate compliant. From a performance standpoint, AMD is aiming for a big 50% jump in performance-per-watt. We are also expecting the new GPUs to support 4K gaming at ease.

AMD hasn’t shared any further details of the event at this time. More details to be uncovered on October 8th and October 28th event.
