Best laptops under INR 70000 for gaming in India

Today I will be listing the best laptops under INR 70000 for gaming in India. These laptop details are collected from Flipkart and Amazon websites. All the prices can vary depending upon various offers or stock availability. Overall I found better deals on Flipkart compared to Amazon.

• All laptops have at least 8GB of RAM
• All laptops have screen size of 15.6 inches
• All laptops must have a minimum 256GB of SSD installed in them.

While there are various other models and brands available at a lesser price, they didn’t have SSDs installed in them. I have not included those laptops in the list here. SSDs are the future of data storage in computers and they provide superior performance and durability compared to HDD. SSDs don’t have any moving parts inside them, are more durable, run cooler and use less energy. They deliver faster load times for games, applications, movies and OS compared to HDD.

With that being said, here is the list of best laptops under INR 70000 in India for gaming:

1- ASUS TUF Gaming A15 Ryzen 5 4600H (FA506IH-BQ180T)

ASUS TUF Gaming A15 Ryzen 5 4600H is available exclusively on Amazon. It is the only laptop with 16GB RAM pre-installed with an option to expand further upto 32GB of memory. It also includes a Ryzen 5 4600H processor which is a 6 core 12 thread chip clocking from a base value of 3.0Ghz upto 4.0Ghz. Also 512Gb of M.2 NVMe storage with additional 1 slot for M.2 storage expansion is a major selling point for this laptop. This laptop includes Nvidia’s GTX 1650 4GB graphics card.

2- Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 Ryzen 5 4600H (15ARH05)

Available on Flipkart, Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 also includes Ryzen 5 4600H processor but RAM installed in 8GB compared to ASUS TUF Gaming A15 laptop. However for graphics cards it has a slightly better version with Nvidia’s GTX 1650Ti installed in it. It also includes a combo HDD+SSD storage option.
If users want to go for Intel processor option with similar specs, then can go for Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3i Core i5 10300H (4C/8T), a 10th gen Intel CPU option. It is also available for INR 72,990 but with reduced RAM speed of 2933 Mhz and if you want to go for a higher display refresh rate, then they can choose HP Pavilion Gaming Ryzen 5 4600H  with 144Hz screen refresh rate. This laptop has similar specs to Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 laptop and is priced at INR 72,000 on Amazon.

3- Acer Aspire 7 Core i7 9th Gen (A715-75G)

Similar to ASUS TUF Gaming A15 and Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3, Acer Aspire 7 laptop here is available for Team Blue side picker. It is powered by Intel’s i7 9th gen 9750H processor which is a 6 core/12threads chip clocking from a base value of 2.6Ghz upto 4.5Ghz. Apart from processor brands, Acer Aspire 7 specs are identical to ASUS TUG Gaming A15 except for the RAM which is only 8GB in Acer laptop model here. and ofcourse price which is 2K more for Acer Aspire 7 because of Intel CPU inclusion.

4- Asus TUF Gaming Core i5 9th Gen (FX505GT-HN101T)

ASUS TUF Gaming FX505GT-HN101T which is available on Flipkart, is our only laptop choice in list with screen refresh rate of 144Hz. The laptop has Core i5 9300H which is a 4 Core 8 threads processor. It has ample 512GB SSD storage with an additional slot for HDD expansion. If users want to have combo HDD+SSD storage option they can go for
Lenovo Legion Y540 which has identical specs with 1TB+256GB SSD storage option and is available at INR 65,490 on Amazon.

5- Acer Nitro 5 Ryzen 5 Quad Core (AN515-43)

I have observed that this Ryzen 5 variant of Acer Nitro 5 is very popular in demand. It is available on Flipkart but the stock is very limited and this laptop gets sold very fast. This is also the best laptop I can recommend to buy under 60K. This laptop has a screen refresh rate upto 120Hz and has plenty of storage options which can be a priority for some gamers. The brightness can go upto 300 nits which is higher than other laptops in my current list. The only downside I can notice is in the laptop screen and that it’s a non-anti glare one.

6- Acer Aspire 7 Core i5 9th Gen (A715-75G)

This is the only laptop with GTX 1650Ti GDDR6 graphics card included under 60K. The laptop has 512Gb of SSD with another 1TB of expandable HDD storage options.
The laptop is also available with GTX 1650 graphics card. The Intel processor variant with GTX 1650 is priced 1k less while AMD Ryzen  Quad Core model is priced the same at INR 59,990.

7- Asus VivoBook Gaming Core i5 8th Gen (F571GT-BQ619T)

I can recommend Asus Vivobook Gaming Core i5 laptop as best for entry level gamers on budget. Gamers can play popular AAA title games on medium to high level settings without any hitch. However the most noticeable downside of this laptop is that the 2 available memory slots is occupied by 4GB RAM. Thus if user want to expand the laptop RAM to 16GB, which is the limit of RAM upgrade in this model, they have to change RAM sticks in both the slots to avail the dual channel benefits. Thus additional purchase cost have to be borne by user. Also this laptop has the Core i5 8th Gen processor, which is older compared to the other processors sorted here. But Core i5 8300H, which is a 4 core and 8 thread processor, is still powerful enough capable of handling intense multitasking.
