Instagram users can now use Facebook messenger within the app

Rooms: Now go live with big groups on Facebook and Messenger

Facebook has silently introduced a new feature in its Facebook and messenger mobile and desktop apps. Indian Army bans 89 Social Media apps for its personnel, includes Facebook, Instagram and more

Indian Army has asked all its Officers and Soldiers to immediately delete (not deactivate) their social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Zoom, Truecaller, Reddit and more from their mobile phones by July 15.This order is passed citing security consideration and leakage of sensitive data. Army said those who don't follow this order will face strict action.The list of 89 apps issued also include 59 Chinese apps who were recently banned by Indian Govt. Immediately remove these 25 apps stealing Facebook credentials

Google has reportedly removed 25 Apps from Play Store after French cyber-security firm Evina claimed that they stole Facebook credentials of users. These 25 apps were collectively downloaded more than 2.34 million times before they were taken down.These apps were containing malicious code which would overlay a fake Facebook login page over a legitimate login page. If users entered credentials on this phishing page, the malicious app would log the data and send it to a remote server.
