Indian Ministry of Information Technology today has made its latest digital strike on China by banning hugely popular battle royale game PUBG Mobile including 117 other Chinese apps which are Prejudicial to Sovereignty and Integrity of India, Defence of India, Security of State and Public Order.The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, Ministry of Home Affaris has sent recommendation to MeitY for blocking these malicious apps after receiving credible inputs for stealing and surreptitiously transmitting users' data in an authorized manner to server located outside India.
