If you enjoy watching and making short videos, there is good news for you. Instagram has made the ‘Reels’ feature live on their mobile platform. India will be the 4th country after Brazil, France and Germany where Instagram has introduced this. This is an app in-built feature rather than a standalone app.
To access Reels, just open your Insta app and swipe right to access camera functionality. On the bottom you will find the ‘Reels’ section.
You can create short videos upto length of 15 seconds and can share it with everyone or can hide from certain followers.
The videos will be posted directly to your story. Based upon settings you have done, your videos can be re-shared by other people as well.
Reels include features such as adding free music, varying video speed (0.3x to 3x), applying effects and custom video length.
Users have already started creating and sharing their stories using this platform.
