After weeks of multiple teasers, Samsung has now officially released Galaxy S20 FE to now bring flagship features to a much more affordable price range. But how does it compared to its bigger siblings Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 Ultra??
Noticeable upgrades and downgrades in Galaxy S20 FE
- Galaxy S20 FE has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection which is a downgrade from Gorilla Glass 6 screen protection protection provided in Galaxy S20, S20 Ultra and Note 20.
- Samsung has provided a internal storage variant of S20 FE of upto 256GB which is only 128GB in both S20 and S20 Ultra models. Storage can further be upgraded in these smartphones using an microSD card. However the 256GB internal storage is non expandable in Note 20.
- The 4500mAh battery capacity in Galaxy S20 sits exactly in center between the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 Ultra while its 200mAh more than Galaxy Note 20.
- Rear video camera recording is reducing to 4K in Galaxy S20 FE. While other 3 models supports rear video camera recording upto 8K.
- Downgrade to Super AMOLED screen compared to Dynamic AMOLED 2X. But Super AMOLED screen is still a great display. Screen resolution is also reduced to FHD+ (but same as Galaxy Note 20) from QHD.
- Galaxy S20 FE selfie camera is 32MP compared to 10MP in Galaxy S20, 10MP in Galaxy Note 20 and 40MP in Galaxy S20 Ultra.
- 6 different body color options in Galaxy S20 FE compared to 5 color options in Galaxy S20, 5 in Galaxy Note 20 and 3 color options in Galaxy S20 Ultra.
