Targeting the highly competitive sub-Rs 20,000 price bracket, the device attempts to balance heavy-duty battery life with a software experience that is increasingly rare in the budget segment.
While rival manufacturers often clutter their cheap devices with promotional bloatware and aggressive push notifications to subsidize hardware costs, Lava is taking a different route. The Shark 2 Pro 5G ships with a clean, stock Android 16 operating system out of the box, offering a bloatware-free user experience.
Price, Availability, and Market Positioning
The Lava Shark 2 Pro price India is set at Rs 16,699 for its sole configuration of 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device is available in two color options: Akash Blue and Nanda Silver. Consumers can purchase the handset through both offline retail networks and online channels.
At this price point, Lava is positioning the Shark 2 Pro 5G as a direct alternative to other high-capacity battery options in the market. It competes closely with the recently launched HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G and the battery-centric Redmi 17 5G.
