Oppo Find X10 Pro Max Global Launch Set for Late October

Oppo's Global Flagship Push

Oppo is shaking up the ultra-premium smartphone tier. Following its Chinese market debut on September 22, 2026, the Oppo Find X10 series is heading to international markets. According to Sunday Guardian Live, the global launch is set for October 21, 2026, with an India-specific release slated for October 28, 2026. This premium rollout follows a busy autumn for the brand, which also includes the mid-range OPPO F35 series launch in early October.

With the Find X10 Pro Max, Oppo is targeting the absolute ceiling of mobile hardware. By combining a 2nm silicon architecture, a massive battery, and a triple-sensor high-resolution camera array, the device is positioned as a direct challenger to established tier-one flagships from Apple and Samsung.

Silicon Architecture: The Dimensity 9600 Pro

At the heart of the flagship Oppo Find X10 Pro Max lies the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. This processor represents a major manufacturing milestone, built on TSMC's cutting-edge 2nm N2P process node. The transition to 2nm allows for greater transistor density, driving down power consumption while pushing thermal thresholds higher.

The SoC employs an aggressive "All-Big-Core" CPU architecture. According to details from the official Oppo and MediaTek partnership announcement, the configuration features:

  • Two ultra-performance C2-Ultra cores clocked at an unprecedented 4.55GHz.
  • Six dedicated performance cores handling heavy multi-threaded workloads.
  • An integrated G2-Ultra NX GPU designed for sustained high-frame-rate rendering.

By abandoning efficiency-only cores entirely, the Dimensity 9600 Pro relies on advanced thread scheduling and the 2nm node's inherent efficiency to manage idle power draw. This silicon strategy targets sustained performance under heavy workloads like on-device generative AI processing and high-bitrate video recording.

The Hasselblad Camera System

The standout hardware feature of the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is its rear camera system, developed in collaboration with Hasselblad. While most manufacturers reserve their highest-resolution sensors for the primary wide lens, Oppo has implemented three distinct 200MP sensors.

  • Main Camera: A 200MP sensor with a wide f/1.5 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for low-light photography.
  • Ultrawide Camera: A 200MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a wide 124-degree field of view to minimize edge distortion.
  • Telephoto Camera: A 200MP periscope sensor with an f/2.1 aperture, 3x optical zoom, and dedicated OIS.

This Hasselblad camera setup supports full-range 8K Log video recording and 4K capture at 120fps, allowing creators to capture highly gradeable footage.

In contrast, the standard Find X10 model scales back slightly. While it retains the 200MP main and 200MP telephoto cameras, it steps down to a 50MP ultrawide sensor. Both models utilize a 50MP front-facing camera for high-resolution self-portraits and video calls.

Power Delivery and Display Specs

To support the high power demands of the Dimensity 9600 Pro and the triple 200MP camera array, Oppo has integrated a massive 8000mAh battery into both the Find X10 and the Find X10 Pro Max. This battery capacity mirrors Oppo's recent push for extreme battery density, a trend also seen in mid-tier devices like the OPPO K14 Plus 5G. Both Find X10 models support 80W wired fast charging.

However, pre-launch documentation reveals some technical discrepancies regarding wireless charging speeds. Reports from 9to5Google point to 67W wireless charging capabilities for the Pro Max, whereas other sources, including Livemint, list the wireless charging cap at 50W.

On the front, the Find X10 Pro Max features a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a 2772×1272 resolution, a variable 144Hz refresh rate, and 3840Hz PWM dimming to minimize display flicker at low brightness. Display performance metrics have also seen conflicting reports: some marketing materials claim a peak brightness of 3,600 nits, while independent hands-on testing suggests a sustained peak of 2,172 nits under standard high-brightness mode (HBM) conditions.

Software, Storage, and Market Positioning

The Find X10 series ships with ColorOS 17, built on top of Android 17. The system is configured with up to 16GB of fast LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring ample local space for large 8K video files and high-resolution raw images.

In China, the Find X10 Pro Max starts at 7,999 CNY (approximately $1,200 USD). This aggressive pricing structure positions it as a highly competitive alternative to ultra-premium devices from Apple and Samsung when it hits global markets. The late October launch puts the series in direct competition with other high-profile autumn releases, such as the OnePlus 16, setting up a highly competitive fourth quarter for enthusiast-grade smartphones.
