iQOO Z11 5G Launched in India: Specs and Pricing

iQOO has officially expanded its premium mid-range portfolio in India with the launch of the iQOO Z11 5G on August 20, 2026. Positioned as a performance-heavy contender in the sub-Rs 40,000 segment, the device brings a notable shift to the Z-series by combining high-tier silicon with a premium curved display. Official sales are scheduled to begin on August 25, 2026, marking a highly anticipated entry in the competitive mid-premium market.

The launch clarifies several conflicting specifications that circulated through early retail database leaks. While some automated databases incorrectly pointed to a Dimensity 8500 processor and a 9,020mAh battery, the official launch confirms that the device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo 5G processor and relies on a 7,050mAh battery.

MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo and Thermal Management

At the core of the iQOO Z11 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo 5G processor. Built on a highly efficient 4nm architecture, this chipset is designed to balance sustained heavy workloads with strict power conservation.

To prevent thermal throttling during extended gaming sessions, iQOO has integrated a 3,800 square mm vapor chamber cooling system. This is the first time a vapor chamber of this scale has been implemented in the iQOO Z series. The cooling setup is designed to quickly dissipate heat from the CPU area, ensuring stable frame rates under load.

1.5K Curved Display and Design Language

The front of the device is dominated by a 6.83-inch 3D curved AMOLED display. It sports a 1.5K resolution of 2800 by 1260 pixels and supports a fast 144Hz refresh rate, aiming directly at mobile gamers who prioritize high-frame-rate rendering.

For outdoor visibility, the panel supports 2,000 nits of High Brightness Mode (HBM) and can reach a local peak brightness of 3,000 nits under direct sunlight.

Despite housing a massive battery, the physical footprint remains relatively controlled. The phone measures 7.99mm in thickness and weighs 199 grams. Additionally, the chassis is built to withstand harsh environments, carrying dual IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and high-pressure water resistance.

The phone is available in two distinct color options: Celestial Blue and Aurora Green.

Battery Engineering and Charging Trade-offs

Powering the device is a 7,050mAh BlueVolt battery. While some manufacturers are pushing even larger capacities—such as the massive cell seen in the OPPO K14 Plus—iQOO’s implementation focuses on keeping the device under the 8mm thickness threshold.

The battery supports 44W fast charging. While 44W is slower than the ultra-fast charging standards seen on some competing mid-rangers, the choice represents a engineering trade-off to protect the high-density BlueVolt cell's long-term lifespan and maintain the slim 7.99mm profile.

Optics, Software, and AI Integration

The camera layout on the rear features a dual-lens setup:

  • Primary Camera: 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) to minimize motion blur.
  • Ultra-Wide Camera: 8MP sensor for wide-angle landscape shots.
  • Front Camera: 32MP sensor housed in a punch-hole cutout for selfies and video calls.

On the software front, the iQOO Z11 5G ships with OriginOS 6.0, which is built on top of Android 16. The operating system integrates several native AI features, including AI Captions for real-time translation, AI Creation for productivity, and a system-wide Circle to Search utility.

Pricing, Configurations, and Market Context

The iQOO Z11 5G is priced to target multiple tiers of the mid-to-premium market. The official pricing structure for India spans four distinct configurations:

Configuration Price (INR)
6GB RAM + 128GB Storage Rs 34,999
8GB RAM + 128GB Storage Rs 39,999
8GB RAM + 256GB Storage Rs 44,999
12GB RAM + 256GB Storage Rs 49,999

This pricing strategy places the top-tier models of the Z11 5G in direct competition with upcoming premium offerings, including the highly anticipated Vivo V80. By offering a starting price of Rs 34,999, iQOO is positioning the Z11 5G as an attractive option for users seeking flagship-grade display specs and robust battery life without paying a full premium flagship price.
