Oppo to launch WearOS smartwatch on July 31

Chinese smartphone maker, Oppo is planning to launch its smartwatch Oppo Watch with Google’s WearOS for global users. It should be noted that Oppo Watch, which was the company’s first smartwatch, was already released in Chinese market in March this year. However the original watch runs on a custom version of Oppo’s ColorOS. Now the company reportedly shared a promotional GIF showing the watch design which looks similar to the original watch, and both look incredibly similar to an Apple Watch.
The new Oppo Watch with Google’s WearOS has already been spotted on German website for sale. As of now it is unclear this launch will be a different version of the original Oppo watch or a completely different one.

The first Oppo Watch starts at 1,499 yuan (about $220) in China for the smaller, 41mm version, while the bigger 46mm option starts at 2,999 yuan (about $260).
