Xiaomi today has announced the launch of its entry budget level smartphone in India. The Redmi 9A will get added in Xiaomi’s popular Redmi 9 series of smartphones.
Price and Availability
Sale for Redmi 9A will start from September 4 at 12pm. The 2GB RAM+32GB ROM variant will cost INR 6,799 and 3GB RAM +32GB ROM variant will cost INR 7,499 in India. The smartphone can be purchased from Mi official website, Amazon.in and Mi Home website.
Features and Specifications
The Redmi 9A runs on an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G25 processor. The single internal 32GB storage option is offered with dual 2GB and 3GB LPDDR4X RAM options. The option to expand storage using a microSD card is also available.
The smartphone has a 6.53 inch HD+ display with 720×1600 pixels resolution. Talking about the camera capabilities, it has a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture including the AI beauty, AI portrait mode, face recognition etc. The single 13MP rear camera supports phase detection auto focus and HDR photo shooting. Rear camera is capable of recording upto 1080p @60fps and 720p @30fps.
Redmi 9A packs a solid 5000mAH battery but lacks fast charging support.
