Continuing their signature flip camera technology, Asus has launched ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro, successors to their last year ZenFone 6 aka Asus 6Z. The phones have 5G support and 90Hz AMOLED display. The major difference will be the processor used in both smartphones. ZenFone 7 has a Snapdragon 865 SoC, while the ZenFone 7 Pro has the latest and fastest Snapdragon 865+ SoC processor.
Price and Availability
Both smartphones will be available for purchase in Taiwan and Asus has not shared their plan of global launch as of today.

Asus Zenfone 7 Pro Specifications
Zenfone 7 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest and fastest Snapdragon 865+ SoC processor with support of Adreno 650 GPU. Out of the box it will run on Android 10 with ZenUI 7. The phone is available in a single variant of 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB ROM with internal storage expandable upto 2TB via microSD card.
Coming to the display, it is a 6.67 inch AMOLED one with 2400×1080 FULL HD display. The screen has a 92% screen-to-body ratio. Screen brightness can go upto 700 nits. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 layer.
On the back, we can notice the triple flip camera setup in its resting position. The primary camera is a Sony IMX686 64MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an ultra-wide 12MP Sony IMX363 sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a telephoto lens of 8MP sensor. The camera support both 8k and 4k video recordings.
There is a side minted fingerprint sensor. Zenfone 7 Pro has a battery of 5000mAh capacity that supports 30W Quick Charge 4.0 technology.
Asus Zenfone 7 Specifications
ZenFone 7 specifications remain the same except the non-pro model has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC processor and Adreno 650 GPU, two variants of 6GB and 8GB RAM options. The phone internal storage is also limited to 128GB only with both RAM variants. However internal storage can be expanded upto 2TB, the same as the ZenFone 7 Pro.
