We can say the most compelling reason to buy a Google Pixel is because of clean Android experience and Pixel’s camera. Pixel devices tend to get all major and security updates first. The OS is bloat free, smooth and less cluttered than other versions of Android. Also despite having a single main camera module Pixel’s camera is capable of beating multiple camera setups of flagship devices because of the unique software algorithm Google puts in their Pixel devices. The night modes clicks specially are really impressive.
For Pixel 4a, Google has promised 3 years of software updates. It packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage to accommodate most users. The processor used here is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G, which is a fast enough processor of day-to-day use. Pixel 4a packs a decent 3140mAH battery, which when combined with a power efficient Snapdragon 730G processor, should end up with a full day of device usage. The battery can be charged using an 18W fast charging adapter.
On the front there is a 5.8-inch 1080p display with a hole-punch camera on the top-left side of the screen. For the first time Google has implemented a hole-punch display. This has allowed the screen to go closer to the edges. The screen is an OLED display which is great to have at this price point.
Phone also packs features like car crash detection, speech-to-text conversion during phone calls.
