Amazon has recently launched its Cloud gaming service named Amazon Luna. This service will be similar to Google Stadia, GeForce NOW, Shadow and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Cloud Gaming. Luna Cloud Gaming service enables players to run games without the need to purchase a gaming console or gaming PC. All the games will run directly in the cloud so players don’t need to install or download any game at their end.

Amazon confirmed that players will get access to famous games titles such as Resident Evil 7, GRID, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Metro Exodus and the game library will keep on growing. It is also confirmed that new and favorite titles from Ubisoft game channel will also be accessible at a later stage.
Device requirement to play on Luna
The Luna app can be installed on:
- PC ((requires Windows 10 with support for DirectX 11)
- Max (OSX 10.13+)
- FireTV devices (Fire TV Stick – 2nd gen, Fire TV Stick 4K, or Fire TV Cube – 2nd gen)
Players can also user web browsers to access games on cloud storage
- Chrome web browser (version 83+) for PC and Mac
- Safari web browser (iOS14) for iPhone and iPad
Amazon will be adding support across more devices in the future.
Internet connection recommendation
Amazon has recommended a minimum of 10Mbps internet connection speed for streaming games, while a minimum of 35Mbps is required to play in 4K.
