OPPO F35 5G Series India Launch Confirmed for October 5

OPPO has locked in October 5, 2026, for the official debut of its F35 5G series in India. This release marks the tenth anniversary of the F-series in the country, a run that began with design-centric mid-rangers and has now pivoted toward extreme battery endurance and high-end front imaging. The company has confirmed two devices for this release: the standard OPPO F35 5G and the OPPO F35 Pro 5G, according to Gadgets Now.

The Oppo F35 Pro India launch is drawing intense scrutiny because of a massive hardware shift. OPPO is aggressively pushing battery capacities upward, moving away from the standard 5,000mAh threshold that has governed the mid-range segment for years.

The 8,000mAh Battery Reality

The headline leak surrounding both models is a massive 8,000mAh battery paired with 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging, as reported by 91mobiles.

Early supply chain rumors suggested the F35 Pro would feature a 10,000mAh pack paired with a low-tier Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor. However, recent industry intelligence indicates OPPO opted for a more balanced footprint, settling on the 8,000mAh capacity to keep the chassis manageable while utilizing MediaTek's Dimensity silicon. This mirrors OPPO's strategy with other heavy-duty battery devices, such as the recently launched OPPO K14 Plus 5G, which also paired an 8,000mAh cell with a high-efficiency MediaTek platform.

To protect this massive chemical reserve, OPPO is shipping the series with extreme environmental protection. The devices are expected to carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. The IP69K rating is particularly notable, indicating protection against high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns—a specification rarely seen outside of ruggedized industrial hardware.

Silicon and Display Specifications

OPPO is separating the two models through distinct silicon and display choices. The standard F35 5G targets the upper-mid tier, while the Pro model edges closer to premium performance.

OPPO F35 5G (Standard)

  • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 6360
  • Display: 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED, up to 144Hz refresh rate
  • Rear Camera: 50MP main sensor + 2MP depth sensor
  • Base Configuration: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage

OPPO F35 Pro 5G

  • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max
  • Display: 6.78-inch AMOLED, up to 144Hz refresh rate
  • Rear Camera: 50MP main sensor with OIS + 8MP ultra-wide lens
  • Base Configuration: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage

Both smartphones are expected to run ColorOS 17 out of the box, bringing updated resource allocation algorithms to manage the high-refresh-rate displays and massive battery capacities.

Front-Facing Optics and Video Upgrades

While the rear camera arrays are standard for this price point, OPPO is focusing heavily on the front-facing camera. Both the standard and Pro models will feature a 50MP Ultra-Wide Natural Selfie Camera, according to Nokiamob.

  • 100-Degree Field of View: The ultra-wide lens eliminates the need for wide-angle crop distortion or selfie sticks during group shots.
  • NaturalTone 2.0: This proprietary rendering technology processes skin tones and ambient lighting to prevent the over-processed, washed-out look typical of mid-range front cameras.
  • 4K Video Recording: The Pro model is confirmed to support up to 4K video recording on both the front and rear cameras, according to Gadgets 360, a feature aimed directly at mobile content creators.

India Pricing and Market Availability

The F35 series enters a highly competitive pricing tier in India, positioned just below the premium flagship bracket.

Model Variant Leaked India Price
OPPO F35 5G 6GB + 128GB Rs 37,999
OPPO F35 Pro 5G 8GB + 128GB (Base) Rs 44,000 – Rs 50,000

According to GSMArena, the series will be sold online via Amazon and Flipkart, alongside OPPO’s established offline retail network. By pricing the Pro model under the Rs 50,000 threshold, OPPO is betting that consumers will prioritize extreme battery life and high-end selfie video capabilities over ultra-thin designs.
